The Turkic Republics and Communities links directory was retired on October 31, 2017.
Turkic Republics and Communities was recommended on page 12 of the 3rd edition of Lonely Planet Central Asia (2004) with the description "Music, books and excellent links for the entire Turkic world." Repeated on page 23 of the 4th edition (2007). Repeated on page 13 of the Italian edition Asia Centrale published by EDT in 2008 and 2011. The 7th English edition was published in 2018.
